Custom web site design.
General Infomatics (GI) is a minority owned, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), 8(a) Certified, Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) with offices in Alexandria, VA and Gaithersburg, MD. GI supports it government clients by offering IT services, business and mission support and engineering/integration services. After winning a recent contract GI wanted to improve the look of their web presence and produce some new printed materials.
Razor Edge Studios worked closely with the owners of GI to develop a new design for the website as well as new presentation and marketing materials.

Before
Above you can see what the old site looked like. Razor Edge Studios helped to design this site back in 2006 and it was starting to show its age. Not only have the companies service offerings changed but they have also grown. This needed to be reflected in the new site design.

The new design
The new design helps to present the company in a more professional manner and by using dynamic technologies like ASP and AJAX users are able to interact with the site more easily. The site is designed to allow continued growth and modification as the company grows and needs change. As Jeffrey Zeldman points out
Web design is the creation of digital environments that facilitate and encourage human activity; reflect or adapt to individual voices and content; and change gracefully over time while always retaining their identity.
